Dr. Célio de Castro Metropolitan Hospital is a PPP between the city of Belo Horizonte (MG) and the ONM Health concessionaire. Its construction was completed in December 2015.
The hospital exclusively treats SUS (public sector) patients. The partnership, established with OPY Health in January 2020, has a term of 20 years (until 2035), which can be extended for another 15 years.
The Dr. Célio de Castro Metropolitan Hospital treats clinical and surgical emergencies, and is a leader in high and medium complexity treatments and in the treatment of stroke.
Model hospital in terms management, fully digitalized and level 6 accredited by HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society).
Recognized as an example of a successful PPP in 2019 by BNDES.
Received the 'Project of the Year' prize at the 2019 PPP Awards Conference.
It undergoes a monthly operational performance evaluation, conducted by an independent auditor, in order to ensure quality service to patients and companions.
